Role (Junior Graphic Designer): Digital Design, Photo Editing, Production Design

The Oregon Community College Association (OCCA) represents the seventeen publicly chartered community colleges in the state of Oregon. As a Junior Graphic Designer at Quinn Thomas, I was responsible for the production of multiple ads in a variety of formats.


Problem:
How do we increase enrollment at Oregon’s colleges?

Solution:
By addressing cost concerns of prospective students.

Context

This project was initiated during the pandemic recovery to increase enrollment at community colleges in Oregon during a time where enrollment declined heavily.

Social Objectives

The goal of this campaign was to increase enrollment and interest in educational programs at community colleges in Oregon.

User Goals

According to the research conducted, many users were hesitant to enroll at community colleges due to financial or cultural (such as race, age, gender, marital status) reasons. As a result, this campaign strongly emphasized diversity and opportunity.
